The Key Tourism Statistics provides you with the information you need to help you gain a greater understanding of the most recent visitor arrivals, accommodation statstics and how many airlines are flying into Christchurch from different countries and regions.

In most cases this information is updated monthly but it will be distributed approximately 4 - 6 weeks later as we receive it from Statistics NZ.

The majority of the data in the KTS is publicly available through the Tourism Research Council of New Zealand website which we strongly recommend you visit  www.tourismresearch.govt.nz.  If you would like more in depth statistical data you can get this direct from Statistics New Zealand by clicking on www.stats.govt.nz
