New Zealand is famous for its quality wool, leather, deerskin, excellent outdoor gear and unique blue pearl. Dedicated followers of fashion won’t be disappointed as well known world brands and home grown fashion products are available in the numerous malls and shopping areas.

Kathmandu, Snowy Peak, and Louis Vuitton are some of the international clothing brands based in Christchurch.

Top international designer labels, world-class New Zealand products, speciality stores and a huge range of duty-free shops can be found right in the City Centre. It’s easy to get to and parking is not a problem.

In Christchurch there are four large shopping centres.  They are Riccarton, Eastgate, Northlands and the Palms.  All of these centres have received a recent upgrade making some of the centres the largest in the country.  In addition to the large shopping centres there are over 18 smaller shopping centres scattered throughout the city, as well as South Island’s only factory outlet Shopping Centre. A few popular shopping centres in the inner city of Christchurch would be Cashel Street Mall, High Street and Victoria Street.

For unique items and a special shopping experience it’s hard to look past the Arts Centre or the Spanish colonial splendour of New Regent Street.
