Images obtained from the Christchurch & Canterbury Marketing online image library or from the CD-ROM distributed by Christchurch & Canterbury Marketing are available for use by our business partners, national and international media, professional conference organizers, specifically nominated parties and national and international tourism trade groups. Usage of this imagery should be for the purposes of promoting Christchurch and Canterbury as a tourist destination.

Availability/usage of the images contained in the image library falls into three broad categories:

• Freely available for download from this website by Christchurch & Canterbury Marketing authorised users.  These images will be available in smaller size digital files more suitable for download.  Images are available in A3 (29.7cms x 42 cms), A4 (21cms x 29.7cms) and A5 (14.8cms x 21cms).
• Available by request. Larger size digital image files will be copied to CD-Rom and distributed to Christchurch & Canterbury Marketing authorised users. Some usage restrictions may apply.
• Available by negotiation. These images will be available by direct negotiation with the photographer concerned. Distribution, copyright and usage of these images will be the responsibility of the photographer concerned.

In all categories usage is limited:

a) to the party authorised by Christchurch & Canterbury Marketing or the participating photographer and
b) to purposes agreed upon by both parties

Where photographer details are provided, the use of images in any publication, is to be credited to the photographer concerned. Images requiring photographer credit are marked "[CR]".
